Sunday Services

Our two Sunday services are a time for the congregation as a whole to gather for worship, teaching and fellowship. The service times are 10.30am and 7pm. Our morning service is great for all ages from every walk of life. There is a creche organised in a room to the back of church, and a programme for our children and youth every Sunday morning. Our evening service is a great alternative service for young adults on up.

Cell

Cell gives everyone in Chawn Hill Church a chance to connect with a smaller group of Christians for support, discussion and teaching from the Bible. We have many different cell groups in Chawn. To find out what cells are running, contact Andy Donaldson: andrew.donaldson@wd40.co.uk who currently oversees our cell groups.

Prayer

We have a strong focus on prayer at Chawn. We have small gatherings for prayer on Tuesday and Friday mornings, to join this group contact Dave or Pat Johnson. We also gather for prayer evenings regularily. Dates of these gatherings are posted on the church calendar.

Eating

We like to gather for lunch or breakfast as as Church when it is possible so we can spend more time getting to know each other. Dates for Church lunches, will be announced at Church and pubilcised through email and monthly publicity brochures.

Getting Involved

There are many other areas in Chawn that we love people to be involved with, including: worship team, welcome team, sound desk technicians, stewarding, working with children and serving coffee on a Sunday morning. Please let us know if you would like to help in any of these areas.

Mission

We are involved with several different mission organisations that we have close relationship with as a Church - The Bless Network who reach Europe through missions, Food Bank which was planted from Chawn and now feeds people throughout the Black Country, and Street Pastors which meets and helps people on the streets.

Chawn History

Chawn Hill Church has been on site for over 100 years. During the years in between the world wars the building was derelict until the 1960s when a group of families from a brethren background bought it and began meeting to worship our Lord Jesus. Since then, the church has sought to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit and is now a charismatic church with an emphasis on the centrality of Jesus, openness to the Holy Spirit and a love for the bible.
