Sunday Services

Our two Sunday services are a time for the congregation as a whole to gather for worship, teaching and fellowship. The service times are 10.30am and 8pm. We share communion the first Sunday of the month in the morning service and the last Sunday in the evening service.

Cell

Cell gives everyone in Chawn Hill Church a chance to connect with a smaller group of Christians for support, discussion and teaching from the Bible. We have many different cell groups in Chawn. To find out what cells are running, contact the office.

Prayer

We have a strong focus on prayer at Chawn. Regular prayer meetings are held throughout the week and a congregational half night of prayer is held one Friday evening every month. We post current prayer needs in our prayer diary at the back of Church.

Eating

We like to gather for lunch as as Church when it is possible so we can spend more time visiting and laughing together. Dates for Church lunches will be announced at Church and pubilcised through email and monthly publicity brochures.

Getting Involved

There are many other areas in Chawn that we love people to be involved with, including: worship team, welcome team, sound desk technicians, stewarding, working with children and serving coffee on a Sunday morning. Please let us know if you would like to help in any of these areas.

Mission

We support three different mission organisations that we have close relationship with as a Church.

Chawn History

Chawn Hill Church has been on site for over 100 years. During the years in between the world wars the building was derlict until the 1960s when a group of families from a brethern background bought it and began meeting to worship our Lord Jesus. Since then, the church has sought to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit and is now a charasmatic church with an emphesis on the centrality of Jesus, openess to the Holy Spirit and a love for the bible.
